Can Autism Be Diagnosed In Infants?

Many of our viewers want to know when to start looking for the signs of autism, and what those signs even are. Can autism be diagnosed in infants, and at what age should parents start looking for the signs?

Child psychologist and behavioral analyst Dr. Hilya Tehrani discusses the importance of "changing the culture" of pediatric care. Neither parents nor pediatricians should accept a "wait-and-see" approach if their child is showing signs of autism. Parents should trust their instincts - the earlier the intervention, the better.
