About the Series

Of the 220 million Americans who has suffered from a traumatic event, 20% of those people go on to develop the debilitating illness known as post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). MedCircle traveled to New York City to interview Dr. Judith Joseph, who has not only treated PTSD in survivors of 9/11, but is also on the cutting edge of workplace PTSD research.

In this series, she breaks down the science of PTSD, how to spot the warning signs, how to get the correct diagnosis, and how to conquer the triggers of PTSD. She shares her latest findings in workplace PTSD research, and how you or your loved one can overcome it. Finally, she shares her own experience with trauma.

“There's no words to express my gratitude for your series. You've been my support in my healing process.”
